No need to make the city skyline your screensaver, see it up close while surfing the web. Visitors to Vulcan Park can enjoy free wireless Internet access at Birmingham's most prominent historic landmark.

Vulcan Park's hotspot (Wi-Fi access point) is free of charge and can be accessed by any visitor with a laptop or other wireless device. The coverage area is 5-acres of the park grounds including the patios and picnic area. A separate wireless network is available for Vulcan Center's special event room.

Vulcan Park Foundation thanks TechBirmingham (and CEO Curtis Palmer), Cisco Systems, Inc. and BrightHouse Networks for making Vulcan Unplugged possible.
